9 Reasons Why Vampires Could Totally Win a Fight Against Werewolves
1. No one can ever agree on vampire powers, so a werewolf would be entering into a one hell of a gamble if he ever picked a fight with a vampire. It could do anything; transform into a tiger, or spew acid from its eye sockets. So the first reason is: uncertainty!
2. Werewolves are werewolves for one night a month. Vampires are cold hard bloodsucking bastards for hundreds of years, every day, and all hours. Except maybe the daylight hours.
3. Vampires are smarter. It's true, sorry, but werewolves are mostly created from the "let's go investigate scary noise" horror movie stock or, "ignore the crazy gypsy woman" types. Vampires are created either by choice, or because they were just so damn sexy.
4. Vampires are faster; they retain human forms, and don't become huge, ungainly half-man half-wolf creatures that have to re-learn how to walk. Animal reflexes are on the werewolves side, but supernatural speed, --nope.
5. Werewolves are usually crippled by a lengthy, painful transformation, giving a vampire ample time to smoke, check his laundry, eat a light dinner of blonde virgin, watch the latest episode of True Blood on HBO, come back after picking up his dry cleaning, and finish on the werewolf before he's even finished growing a tail.
6. Vampires are more popular; they're hot, and they look like gorgeous pale people, thus, they're more likely to have human allies, willing to die for them. Werewolves are scruffy, un-hygienic looking guys, who might have one girlfriend that they end up killing off themselves.
7. It's easier for vampires to blend in with humanity, giving them an edge when it comes to hiding, or using the element of surprise in a fight. Werewolves are huge, mutant dog people; they don't really have the same thing going for them once they've transformed.
8. Vampires multiply faster; it takes one night for a vampire to turn like, a dozen or so people. It takes a whole month for a werewolf to turn someone, or at least for the effect to kick in.
9. In the event that a vampire should have to flee, because the werewolf is fighting dirty, or ganging up on one vampire, then vampires can always shapeshift into something with wings, like these so-freaking-horrfiyingly-ugly-they're-cute vampire bats. Then they can come back later and snuff the werewolf when he's in the bathtub or something.

I do give werewolves credit because they’re bigger and has better animal reflexes but a vampire would totaly cream them!!
they both deserve plenty of respect,whether or not u prefer vampires or werewolves. They r both good fighters, and realy, mainly it just depends on how skilled the vampire or werewolf is.
Your statement reflects remarkable insight Angel… and for that, hat’s off to you. The time-old feud raging between the two breeds is somewhat over-inflated by books, movies and the like. Although any real vampire or werewolf would enlighten you to the actuality that a feud does indeed exist, it is hardly as ghastly as it’s often portrayed to be.
The two species also don’t simply brake into fight at the mere sight of one another as sometimes suggested, the battles are usually based on more than a mere identity distinction. If this was not the case, the battles between the species would have raged publicly far more often because, contrary to popular belief and even though they are not in a constant active state, werewolves are not entirely unskilled. As far as senses go, they are as proficient in identifying a vampire as vampires are in identifying them. So the argument made of vampires being able to hide from werewolves in crowds is not entirely accurate since the two species can sense each other from great distances.
So as Angel said, both the species should be respected for their separate talents, skills, habits and mostly for their intelligence. Although they differ substantially in abilities, every single one is dependent on the influences of the strain it stems from for their strength, agility and attributes.

Ok, it depends upon which type of werewolf your talking about. Vampires have many weaknesses as well. vamps obviously can’t go out in the day time, wolves can and that alone is a huge threat to all vamps, in some cases the wolves can transform freely every night and against their will on the night of the full moon. Vamps have to rely on human blood when the wolves can live off of any game not just human. And I think that the werewolves stand an equal chance against vampires.
Not all werewolves have long transformation processes and they deffonatly can be attractive people as well. The werewolves that I’ve heard of weren’t the half-man looking creatures, but the full wolf form. I would follow any cute puppy versus a overly pale, cold, person that smells of corpses and blood.
I agree, I’m a Sang myself and there are some damn attractive and well fought werewolves out there. One of my recent best friends is a werewolf and he’s one of the smartest people I know.
In my opinion, vampires would have a slight advantege with speed, stregth, and stelth. Werewolves are infact skilled, very skilled in some ways. It would be very interesting to watch.
1. “Vampires are pale.” Wrong. Vampires of Middle- and Eastern European were red-faced or “rosy” and often fat.
2. “Vampires can´t go out in sunlight.” Wrong again. In folklore and classic literature like Dracula and Carmilla vampires walked happily in sunlight. It was 1922 Nosferatu which added vampires-burn-in-the-sun-nonsense.

Oh my dear friends yet have much to learn vampires would win for the fact they have more abilities then you know. Just cause your a wolf does not mean you move faster then a bat and it doesn’t make them smarter either. Werewolves are savages which makes them stupid therefore not smart the time you think of something we already thought our minds move quicker so therefore were steps ahead. You all do amuse me.
I’m a hybrid vamp, and one of my closest friends is a “werewolf”. There is no feud between us. If there’s a feud, it’s only in the movies.
I respect vampires a lot and there is nothing wrong with them, a friend of mine is a “Vampire” and me and my sister are “Werewolves” so even if a vampire could win a fight against a werewolf it could also happen the other way around.

Oh, I get so tired of these people claiming they are vampires/werewolfs and talking about some feuds. In pop culture ofcourse there is a feud, but in folklore, where both vampires and werewolfs originate from, they are very much the same. Blood drinking corpse, shapeshifter, both agents of satan, bla bla. A vampire unafected by some or other modern writer is as likely to turn into a wolf as they are to a bat. Even more popular transformation than bat, whitch is quite a modern thing, they are more likely to turn into a fog, or a plague of locusts, something in that style. Remember, medieval Europe had no idea about blood-drinking bats. The reason some kind of a vampire myth is present almost in every culture is becuse blood is the precious liquid of life, you lose too much of it and you die. Fear of losing the valuable blood transitioned into the belief of dead things that animate themselves by consuming the life of the living through blood. And the belief that vampires are most vulnerable during the day was not inspired by a movie, but by the dogmas of the church, like the witches, also servants of an ‘other’ god, had to burn in the purifying flames. And for the werewolfs, in the middle ages, they were mostly people who gained the ability to shift into a wolf through a dark pact or magic, or on the other hand, were animalistic man-beasts whitch didnt usually display any shapeshifting abilities. European tales are mostly church-influenced.
