Just when I think they can’t cash in anymore on Twilight’s success they create yet another money maker. This time it’s a Twilight themed restaurant set to open in Washington state. This new restaurant will be called Volterra after the city in the Twilight vampire novels, which are set in the town of Forks, Washington. The owners Annette and Tim said that it will be a family restaurant that and that they plan on opening some time in 2010. They also commented on how they have applied for an alcohol license. Woo! Glittery vampires and booze! Also, the restaurant will be a steak and seafood restaurant that will serve three meals a day says Annette. So, you can order a rare steak and chow down on that animal blood just like Edward!
Forks already has the Twilight Lounge that features concerts and other events for fans. In fact it has a whole tourist set up for hardcore fans, which you can read more about here.
When it comes to the name of the restaurant, Volterra, in the Twilight series it is the Italian city where the vampire aristocracy, the Volturi, live. In New Moon, the second movie in the Twilight saga, Edward leaves Bella in order to keep her safe, and Bella, in turn, follows Edward to Volterra, Italy to save him from the Volturi.
As for how Twilight themed this Twilight themed restaurant will be, no one has said. I mean, is it going to have Bella and Edward’s faces plastered all over the walls, will the menu have clever Twilight food titles (Jacob Black Pepper Steak)? I guess we will have to wait and see.

i think that the restaurant will make A LOT of money. it might even be cool if the do the whole “twilight” theme tastefully. but i personally think that people are milking the WAY to much! yah, it was cool at first, but now it’s just to used. it is getting old!
