Bella’s ‘Breaking Dawn’ Wedding Dress

Judging by the ratty and ripped up t-shirt I am wearing and the bright purple polish on my nails, it’s pretty obvious that I’m not big into fashion and style. But apparently many of the Twi-hards out there are, which is why I’m sitting here typing about Bella’s wedding dress in the upcoming Twilight flick, Breaking Dawn: Part 1.

Oh the things I do for you Twilight fans, you better be appreciating this.

Ok so, the Breaking Dawn teaser trailer was released not too long ago (watch it below if you missed it) and in the trailer is a snippet of Bella and Edward’s wedding – we see the wedding decorations, we see Edward’s tux and Bella’s hair, but we don’t see Bella’s wedding dress, and that’s got fans going all crazy. While I don’t have photos of the dress (sorry!), I do have info on the gown. So here’s the dish Twi- hards:

Summit Entertainment, the studio behind the Twilight films, just announced that the gown was designed by Carolina Herrera. This designer is huge, so huge that even I know who she is! I am genuinely surprised that such a major designer did Bella’s dress. But then it is Twilight after all.

“It is always a great pleasure to design any wedding gown, but this one was particularly special,” the renowned designer told Us Weekly. “Kristen is a stunning girl and her character, Bella, will make a beautiful bride.”

While we don’t know what Bella dress looks likes, we do know Carolina’s design style, which sort of hints at what’s to come. Carolina’s style is clean cut and classy, it’s elegant but not over-the-top, which fits in pretty well Stephenie Meyer’s description of the 1920s antique dress. So it sounds like the perfect fit, we’ll just have to wait and see if the wedding dress is as good as everyone is hoping.

And in case you missed it, here’s another look at The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1 teaser trailer.

What do you guys think about Carolina Herrera designing Bella’s wedding dress? Do you even care at all about the dress? Let me know in a comment below!
