Vampires or Vampire Movies Pictures History and Trivia

Christmas With Blade

December 25th, 2009 § 4

Today is Christmas (duh) and while most people out there are curling up on their couch, sipping on eggnog and watching holiday movies I have decided that I will have no part in all of that. There will be no ‘Miracle on 34th Street’ or ‘A Christmas Story’ for me, nope, I’ll be laying in bed watching myself a vampire movie. My movie of choice today is Blade: Trinity. You may ask why, the reason: because I’d much rather see half naked Ryan Reynolds than a kid getting his tongue stuck to an icy pole. What can I say, I love me some sexy, half naked, chained men.

Out of all three of the Blade movies I have to say in all honesty this one was my favorite, and not only because I have a crush on Hannibal King. This Blade flick had more action than the others, way more comedy and classic lines, kickass music and the best story of the three. But that’s me, most seem to like the first movie the best and while the first Blade rocks I still love Trinity the most.

So lets go ahead and get to the plot… Blade: Trinity is about Blade’s losing battle against the growing vampire population. He ends up joining forces with two vampires hunters, Hannibal (Ryan Reynolds) and Abigail (Jessica Biel), who are part of a vampire hunting team called the Nightstalkers. Together they battle Danica Talos and the vampire she has resurrected, that vampire being the famous Drake (aka Dracula). Blade and the gang have one shot to save the world from annihilation and destroy the vampires. Ba ba buuuuuuum!

So you guys enjoy your holiday reruns, I’ll be chowing down on my poorly decorated Christmas cookies while having a night of blood, gore, hotties and vampires.
