Colin Farrell Talks ‘Fright Night’ with Ellen DeGeneres

The gorgeous and deliciously Irish Colin Farrell was on the Ellen DeGeneres Show a few days ago and chatted about his upcoming film Fright Night, a remake of the 1985 vampire flick. But he did much more than just chat about the movie, him and Ellen also had some vampiric fun. Bwahaha.

The show starts off with Colin commenting on how hot Ellen’s partner Portia is then it moved on to Colin’s love life and eventually we got to the good vampire parts where Ellen asked him about Fright Night, which hits theaters this August.

"Yeah it was a film that I loved growing up, I grew up watching scary films and it was one that I has seen maybe 15 or 20 times. When I heard that they were making it I was kinda like ‘Ugh Hollywood, what a bunch of unoriginal idiots, my god, a remake, they’re going to destroy one of my favorite films!’ Then I read the script and was like ‘Nooo I like it.’ replied Colin.

Ellen then went on to ask whether or not the film was scary, but Colin said it wasn’t, for him at least, but only because he knew what was coming every moment.

Then, in honor of Colin’s upcoming horror film, Ellen decided to play a prank on her audience members. Now, if you have watched Ellen before then you know that she LOVES scaring people. She does it all the time; she scares her audience and even celebrities coming on the show. Well, this time Ellen and Colin scared the audience by dressing up as traditional caped vampires, hiding in the bathroom and jumping out and screaming at anyone that walking in. Haha, well, that’s one way to make vampires scary. You can watch the video of them scaring people HERE.

And you can check out the Fright Night Trailer below! I have to admit, it looks pretty decent. What do you guys think?
