This is a very informative article so thank you for publishing.

As a vampire, I once ran a community so that I could meet like minded people and further my thirst for knowledge. I also thought it was important to be able to provide a wide range of advice for those new on the scene who genuinely had questions about their vampirism. It is very important that such people, whether you call them awakening vampires or not, have a full range of different opinions to digest.

I'm no longer an active member of the vampire community, because I don't feel the need to be. As an individual, I'm happy with who I am and should I wish to learn about something or speak to others, I will then seek a suitable community.

A true vampire will recognise another vampire on the Internet and communicate direct and the desire to be recognised as a vampire has long gone.
