No More Leather Covered Kate

The entertainment world has been (wonderfully) taken over by vampires. From Twilight to True Blood, the movie and media world have their fangs deep into the vampire fad, feeding all the hungry fans.

But it looks like Underworld actress Kate Beckinsale hasn’t been inspired all over again by the latest vampire craze. The gun toting, lycan hunting hottie says she won't be taking any part in it - specifically denying rumors that she's set to star in the fourth edition of Underworld.

While the star would be the perfect addition to another Underworld flick, Kate Beckinsale is said to be set in her ways and doesn't look forward to taking on werewolves or wearing revealing outfits, which is a shame.

The actress backed out of the third movie, Underworld: Rise of the Lycans, which was created by her husband and filmmaker Len Wiseman, but even though there have been countless rumors flying that Beckinsale will grace us with an appearance in the fourth film she assures us that that is a no go.

It was reported that the 36-year-old star thinks the role might embarrass her daughter. “I don’t think my daughter needs to see my bottom in rubber for another 10 years.”  And I say…well, she will be 46 then and well, who would want to see her in a leather body suit then? But then, who knows, she is the most beautiful 36-year-old ever and could probably pull off a leather suit even at 46.

As for Underworld 4 there isn’t actually any solid information on it. The rumors are that it will happen some time in 2011 but that is just one big rumor that hasn’t been confirmed or denied I’m afraid.

Hopefully there is an Underworld 4, since the other three rocked. But if there is, the one thing we know for sure is Kate Beckinsale won’t be part of it. Sad.

Looks like Kate Beckinsale has changed her mind and that she will in fact be in the fourth Underworld film.
