Please Turn Me Into A Vampire!
“Please turn me into a vampire!” I read this comment here a lot. Now, before I continue I want to make it very clear that this is by no means an insult to those of you that wish to become a vampire. I totally understand your reasons for wishing it, so as I said, this isn’t an insult.
But, I’m afraid I do have a few issues with that comment. Here is one big problem, someone says they are a vampire and many of our readers believe them. People lie online… a lot. I can lie very easily right now and say, “hey everyone, I’m a Yeti!” or something small like, “I just painted my nails blue.” See how easy that was? That 500-year-old vampire you are chatting with could very well be a 50-year-old sexual predator. You never know, but you need to always keep that in mind.
This is not me assuming you are idiots, of course not. But I have seen some of our readers post their actual home address in a comment so that the “real vampire” can come and bite them. This is incredibly stupid and very dangerous! Every time I see one of those comments I am totally shocked and quickly scramble to delete it. Please understand that we are very welcoming to everyone on this site and we love our readers. So of course your safety is very important to us.
And yes, someone claiming to be a vampire could very well be your classic vampire, a sanguinarians or a psi, but either way we beg for you to be safe and smart. Before you get too serious, PLEASE stop and think long and hard about what that person is saying. Do your own research on the subject - not Twilight, not Vampire Diaries, but real research. Check out all of the facts – knowledge is power. There have been a few times where I simply picked up a couple books and checked out a few sites and instantly proved that someone’s “facts” were all lies.
Another big problem is when someone copies and pastes the same comment over and over, “PLEASE TURN ME, I WANNA BE A VAMPIRE!!!!” You are more than welcome to leave that comment, but I seen people posting it well over ten times and do you know what I do? I go through and delete each comment except for one. I hate spamming and posting over and over won’t help your chances of becoming a vampire. Actually, if I were a vampire and I saw that I’d be like, “No way in hell do I want to spend eternity with them!” and move on.
To sum it up, I am begging you to all be safe and smart. Please do not believe everything someone writes. Please do not post your home address or your e-mail address in a comment because it will be deleted. Please no spam. And once again, please do not consider this an insult. I adore all of our wonderful readers, from the fanged to the fang-less.

I agree that it is stupid of people to be leaving their adresses just so a vampire [that is never going to come] will bite them! i have been a fan of vampire’s forever and would love to meet one but people neeed to still be safe!

I have been a “fan” of vampires since I was old enough to read. If they do exist I doubt they would be on the net reading about how someone is desperate to be “bitten” and “turned”.

I agree! Excellent article, great site. (Not being suck-up, just telling the truth! p ) I am a fan of vampire lore and fiction and I don´t believe there is vampires, but even if you believe in supernatural, it is indeed very dangerous to go to meet “vampire” you have met in the net… it can be teen or adult, and someone who wants, for example, torture you! And let´s face it, there is anything filthier than torturer, hm? Just saying.
I love vampires, too, but putting out your information out there like that is just dumb

I have been interested in the whole vampyre mythos since the age of about five, since before the whole hype and fiction which was about. to this day i have never read any of the twilight books or seen ‘stokers dracula etc.
So yes, I can say my interest isnt fuelled by the hype.
I have done alot of research including the internet, and have noticed its full of teens and kids making illiterate pleas for a vamp to ‘turn’ them, this is really quite dangerous, its almost like a super market for paedophiles and sexual predators.
If Vampyres really exist, they seem to be very secretive and shun networking sites so finding one, let alone getting one to turn you I think is futile.

I am a normal-ish ;-) human being and am not going to claim that im a Vamp, like some seem to be doing on the ‘net, but I do have to say, becoming one is a very attractive idea. If you can deal with the terrible price you have to pay for it.
I agree… It is a verrrry attractive idea and all the recent hype has glamourised what a Vampire is… There are downsides which seem to be glossed over. Would it be worth the sacrifice… I am willing volunteer and find out.
I also agree. I think it’s a very attractive idea to be a vampire. I have done a fair portion of research on the subject, though many of the ‘spells’ that turned up were often too complicated to perform. Most websites claim the sun DOES burn vampires, but just like a lit candle near the skin. Most of the other myths were usually claimed to be false. I, too, am very willing to try it out, but I’m not one of the desparate ones. Reading a bit lower,on the post by Vampire Princes, there is no such thing as a ‘half vampire’. That was made up in ‘The Vampires Assistant’, and it does NOT exist.

If you are a real vampyre you wouldnt be on the net because there are vampire hunters checking these sites daily and nightly to stop you from killing people even if its just by accident its your nature. So we must kill all vampyres that bite humans in order to have a safe world. There is no biting and stopping vampyres cannot control there thrist. Because they are dead, they must take other peoples blood to keep them alive and they need a large amount, its as if they are dying of thirst they must qench it. so if you are a vampyre you wont be for long.
For those of you who want to become one the chances are 1 in 1million and if you do there is a garentee that hunters will never stop hunting you until you can’t hunt humans no more. Even when we die there will be more of us to hunt you.

I really don’t know what to say. i don’t know how long the thought of vampires have been on my mind. Probably since i was six. I’ve always believed. But as i’ve grown i’ve become more obsessed about them. i know it sounds pathetic and many people would think I’m crazy for my beliefs. Maybe deep down i really am a lunatic. If i were to make the choice of becoming a vampire i still wouldn’t know the answer. I don’t know what the effects are or if it could even improve me. I would be nice for someone to give me the chance to transform. Though I would have so many questions before hand. Even if i found someone claiming to be one. How would i know that they’re not lying?

That depends… if you actually are a vampire. People claim they are vampires, but just say so because they are sexual molesters just wanting to get at girls and take advantage of them… I want to be a vampire, so do others. This may sound strange, but yes, I got this obsession from Twilight. I have done research on Vampires. Stephanie Meyer did have a very creative way of explaing and pictureing the vampires in her Twilight series. I enjoyed all the books soo much I started doing research on vampires! I found out many things about them. Again, if you are a real vampire, I have yet to watch you change someone. I had no intention of making this post sound mean or to offend you, so if I did I apoligize. :)
Why is it that everyone wants to become this monster? Some say, because of their features and sort. But Me truthfully am not going lie. Vampires are like demons, monsters. Created to be something scary but is now, in the modern day, turned into something sexy and EVERYONE is dying to give their self away to one. Why? Their is no point to this creature but to be a monster.

Ive always wantes to become a vampire. I mean, I live with a disease that basically screwed up my whole life plan so I just figured what the hell? why not live dead forever? I would not have this disease and I would be able to do whatever I wanted… but then reality strucks me and I know its not possibe (or is it?) and I just figure that the best thing to do is live my life (what is left of it) as normally as possible and TRY to do what I ike doing best, even though its not enough for me. But I’m not stupid enough to go publish my home address and phone number and put the people I love in danger… Who the hell would do that? This is why I think this is a great article.

I have had a strong interest in anything supernatural, vampires forsure, i would love to meet one and learn from them the many wonders this world has shown them in the years they have been around. I know many ppl lye online and are preditors in many worst ways then vampires. I believe tho this world has many wonders that the mass population of mankind just can not see nor accept as reality, one day tho when the powers that created all life feel mankind has advanced enough to understand the mysterys of this world and beyond it all will be revieled, i just wish that for the select few of us that know it with out need solid evedence could have the privladge of being apart of it now.

I beleive in vampires. I have for years now. I’m trying to look for a spell or ritual to turn me and my friend into a vampire, but it’s like looking for a grain of sugar in a cup of salt… And forget about finding an ACTUAL VAMPIRE… I’d give up on trying to change myself, but I’m too stupid. by thr way, Twilight isn’t based on any actually vampiric history… It’s a bunch of bull shit. I’d do almost anything to be a vampire, though. I dropped out of school…… I have more time to look for answers to my deepest questions about vampires and stuff but I’ll never find them….

I know you get this lot, but I have thought this through long and hard. I really wish to be changed. I have multiple sclerosis and RA. I am only in my early thirties. It is so bad now that I am in bed -2 weeks out of the month. My Dr. tells me I don’t have long before a wheelchair is on my future. I am not able to be there for my family as I am. Plus I have to take pain killers now. I am actually begging if there is someone out there who will help me. I am not stupid I have a college degree and was a proffesional dancer before I got so ill. I don’t know if there is hope or if it can be done, but I really am desperate. Right now my work is also suffering, I have been working as a Scarlett O’Hara look a like, but cant meet all of my commitments. Please anyone help if you can.
The magical vampires you see in films and read about in books are mostly likely not real, they came from the imaginations of writers. There is no one here that can turn you into some all powerful being. Sorry :(

To be a vampire seems to be too good to be true. It’s a wish that I will always keep in the back of my mind, but that’s where it will stay…while I feel more and more disconnected from my humanity. The older I get, the less I care about everything. Oh, well! Such is life! =)
