Sneak Peek at Vampire Saga 3: Break Out

Alawar is back with another vampire adventure game! Vampire Saga 3: Break Out is coming soon and bringing all new adventures with it. In the upcoming game, you’ll be guiding a doctor through a city that is rapidly being overrun by vampires. Your job is to stop the epidemic by destroying the source of the problem, and you be guided by a supernatural force that resembles your deceased daughter.

For those new to Alawar’s games, they are hidden-object adventure games. You walk around gorgeous areas searching for hidden items that will aid you on your quest, all while slowly unraveling the mysteries of the storyline. These PC games are geared more towards casual gamers, but among the MANY hidden-object games, Vampire Saga is one of the most popular due to the challenging puzzles, amazing graphics and chilling storylines.

From the official Break Out press release:

“Sink your teeth into the jugular of a heart-stopping journey through the town of Hell Lock in Vampire Saga 3: Break Out, the third chapter in the popular series of hidden object adventure games. As you guide a doctor through the panic-stricken streets of Hell Lock, you will slowly uncover the source of a red-eyed terror that is turning the townspeople into murderous creatures of the night. You will also help the man of science resolve his preference for rational thinking with his visions of his dead daughter, who seems to be taking him on a tour of the horrors of the abandoned town.

Throughout your quest, you will interact with ill-fated characters, explore decrepit streets and buildings, and solve mind-bending puzzles that pave the way to a confrontation with the evil that resides in the underbelly of the doomed town. Are you thirsty? Then take a bite out of Vampire Saga 3: Break Out and drink your fill!”

Game Features:

  • 36 Eye Locations
  • 9 Hidden Object Scenes
  • 20 Animated Story Scenes
  • Hints, Tips & Tutorial
  • 18 Mini-Games

Here’s a screen shot from the upcoming game:

I have played both of the previous Vampire Saga games and have mixed feelings on them. The first was great, I really enjoyed it. It was challenging, it had an interesting storyline and was highly addictive. As for the second, well it was entertaining and visually appealing, but the story was totally lacking. Here’s hoping the third is an improvement.

You can purchase Vampire Saga 3: Break Out on March 8, 2012. For more info on the game, check out Alawar’s website.
