Spreadin’ the Love for Horror Décor
It will come as no surprise to my frequent readers that I love me some kitsch. Particularly cute kitsch. Last week I posted about some Horror-themed bath bombs that would allow a bather to luxuriate in a tub of bloody red, scented water, ala Elizabeth Bathory. Before that, it was monster movie-themed Pop-tarts. (These last are only artist creations, but they’re still cool.) This past week I stumbled across horrordecor.net. They’ve got more groovy HANDMADE(!) products than you can shake a stick at. I searched the site for something vampire related, and found the Evil Ed (from FRIGHT NIGHT, as if you didn’t know) “Cuddle Creep” (pictured). How cute is that, I ask ya?
Do you need an AMITYVILLE HORROR potholder? They’ve got you covered. A Headless Horseman pillow? They got it. A flag advertising THE SLAUGHTERED LAMB pub (from AN AMERICAN WEREWOLF IN LONDON—again, as if you didn’t know) or RAY’S OCCULT BOOKS? (Yeah, yeah, I get it; you already know.) Check and check again. A Buffalo Bill’s Lotion-scented candle? Check, for the hat trick! Peruse their site and window-shop (computer-screen shop?) all their delectable goodies. It’s not too early to stat thinking about my birthday. (Hint, hint!)
