Superman and Batman Vs. Vampires and Werewolves

Gotham city is a dangerous place, what with the likes of Two-Face and the Joker causing chaos wherever they go but it doesn't get more dangerous than when it's being invaded by Vampires and Werewolves.
After spending the night tracking what appears to be a werewolf, Batman comes across a man claiming to be a simple tourist. The man calls himself Marius Dimeter and you don't have to be the world's greatest detective to realize Dimeter is no tourist, nor is there anything simple about him. Dimeter has glowing red eyes and what look like fangs... and oh yeah, he can phase through solid brick walls. Batman doesn't know it yet but he's just met a vampire and this vampire just so happens to be one of the good guys.
It's not long before Gotham is overrun with creatures of the night and Batman can't stop them all on his own. It's a good thing he has the likes of Superman, Wonder Woman, Green Arrow, Nightwing, Jason Blood and Man-Bat on his side. With the aid of the world's finest superheros, Dimeter the vampire and Janko the reluctant werewolf, hopefully Batman can figure out just what started the vampire/ werewolf scourge in the first place. He already has some clues and he's pretty sure all fingers point to Dr. Herbert Combs, a mad scientist with an obsession with H.P. Lovecraft who believes he has found a doorway into the netherworld.
Written by Kevin VanHook with art by Tom Mandrake, Superman and Batman Vs. Vampires and Werewolves is a six issue limited series packed with excitement and more guest appearances than you can shake a stick at. A fun read, paying homage to the master H.P. Lovecraft, this series has everything a comic book geek with an occult obsession could possibly want including Lovecraftian monsters, mad scientists, vampires, werewolves, superheroes and one of my particular DC Comics favorites, Jason Blood, also known and The Demon Etrigan.
Superman and Batman Vs. Vampires and Werewolves is also available as a Trade Paperback with an introduction by the man behind An American Werewolf in London, John Landis
