THE STRAIN – The Battle for Central Park

This site hasn’t turned into a fan site for THE STRAIN, despite appearances to the contrary. It’s just that we’re smack in the middle of the third season, which is really cooking with gas, everybody’s talking about it (well, every real vampire fan is, or every fan of real vampires, or both), FX is constantly sending me stuff to use in the articles, and who am I to look a gift Strigoi in its stinger-wielding mouth? THE STRAIN is what’s happening right now, and all we fans couldn’t be happier. For the two of you who aren’t fans of the series, bear with us. There are only five more episodes to go this season. I do feel your pain. It must be comparable to how I feel during football season. (Except it’s a thousand times worse for me.) But buck up, little pilgrims. This, too, shall pass.

As for the rest of us, here is a promo for the next episode, “The Battle for Central Park.” Fet, as we all know, tracked the now master-less Strigoi to a huge nest underneath the park, and next Sunday night councilwoman Feraldo and her goosesteppers are planning to hit ‘em hard, wipe ‘em out with shock and awe. But can a Strigoi even feel shock and awe? And might the black-ops boys be biting off more than they can chew? Stay tuned—like I have to tell you to do that. And as for Floyd and Philbert, who are our haters, um, go pop in a video of INTERVIEW WITH THE VAMPIRE and try to be patient.

Check out the promo here. I thought about telling Floyd and Phil that it was a link to INTERVIEW and then Rick-rolling them with the STRAIN trailer, but even *I* am not THAT heartless.
