‘The Vampire Diaries’ Season 3 Premiere Date Announced
Even though Season 2 of The Vampire Diaries just ended fans are already dying for information on Season 3 and the CW has given us a little. Obviously they are keeping the story for Season 3 all hush hush, but their fall premiere schedule and the date of the return of your favorite characters from Mystic Falls is one thing they could share.
The Vampire Diaries will return for the third season on Thursday, September 15, at 8PM, followed by the series premiere of The Secret Circle, which is based on books by the same author of Vampire Diaries, L.J. Smith. Two Smith series back to back! Next fall is going to rock!
If you love Season 2 so much that you want to re-watch it then you’re in luck, there will be reruns on the CW all summer long, and the DVD and Blu-ray will be in stores August 30! Season 2 was full of fantastic episodes and moments – when Stefan saves his brother by running away with Klaus, when Elena kisses Damon, Bonnie and Jeremy’s romance blossoming, Caroline and Tyler's friendship and so many more. Season 2 was excellent and here's hoping Season 3 will be even better!
So, what do you guys think will happen in Season 3? What will happen when Stefan returns to town after his bloody trip with Klaus? Will he be a new evil Stefan when he returns to Elena and Damon? What will happen to those two while Stefan is gone? And what about Jeremy's exes appearing after Bonnie brought him back to life? Kayla Ewell, who plays Vicki, has already been dropping some teasers, so we do know she'll be back for more than just that one episode. But what will she do? What about Matt, Tyler and Caroline? Matt has discovered what's really going on in Mystic Falls, but can he deal with it? So many questions!
