Uncover the Truth in ‘Vampire Mansion’

If you are like me and love point and click adventure games then I’ve got some fantastic news for you! On April 12, 2011 Viva Media is releasing Vampire Mansion: A Linda Hyde Mystery, a new PC game for the vampire fans! Woot!

Game description:

“DISCOVER A SECRET THAT HAS BEEN HIDDEN FOR CENTURIES. When Investigative Reporter and Super Sleuth, Linda Hyde, sets out to cover a rare book exhibition, she receives an offer she can’t refuse – to search for 5 lost manuscripts on the behalf of a mysterious collector. However, as Linda will soon find out, she is not alone in this quest. Confronted with challenging puzzles and mind-bending mini-games, it’s up to you as Linda to find the clues and put the pieces together to stop this sinister plot. As your search intensifies, a secret world of vampires slowly reveals itself. Has Linda taken on more than she bargained for? With over 40 locations to explore and over 400 Hidden Objects to find, you’ll have to race against time to outwit your supernatural enemies! How close to the truth can you get before you become the target?”

Sounds glorious! Yes, Vampire Mansion is yet another point and click hidden object and puzzle game, and there are loads of those out there, but I love them! It’s one of my many addictions. I spend hours obsessively playing these games whenever I can, so it goes without saying that I’m pretty geeked about Vampire Mansion. Plus, it’s only $6.99 on Amazon, and that is also a huge bonus. Hurray for cheap entertainment!

Another added bonus is that the game has some beautiful graphics. A lot of the time these cheap computer games look terrible, but this one appears to look fairly decent, as you can see in the screenshots below.

Do any of you love these types of games, or am I alone in my geekiness?

Moonlight (aka Amanda) loves to write about, read about and learn about everything pertaining to vampires. You will most likely find her huddled over a book of vampire folklore with coffee in hand. Touch her coffee and she may bite you (and not in the fun way).
