Vampires or Vampire Movies Pictures History and Trivia

A new 3D video game, Vampire Origins is on its way to the iPhone and iPod Touch. Vampire Origins is actually the first part of an action-packed shooter trilogy, and it looks pretty impressive for a handheld game. It appears that you play a vampire hunter of some sort as you battle your way through the stunning gothic environments packed full of bloodthirsty vamps.

It looks to me to be one of those simple shooter games that you instantly get addicted to – thinking to yourself “oh I’ll only play for a couple of minutes” …then two hours later, “DIE DIE DIE… must….kill…all!”

Ah, video game addiction, my old foe, how you continue to destroy any resemblance of a life (man, you should have seen me the first time I played a Final Fantasy game, or god, when I started playing WoW).

Now, I am not a big iPod fan – GASP! I know I know, I am one of two people in the world that actually owns a Zune, the other being Bill Gates – but I’ll admit that the graphics for this game look incredible considering what you’re playing on. I wouldn’t have guessed by the screenshots that it’s an iPhone application. Impressive.

According to fellow gamers, the gameplay in Vampire Origins is similar to Diablo. You’ve got a simple battle system that has you pointing and clicking to attack the undead beasties. That may not sound like much but the constant fast-paced action is sure to keep you thoroughly entertained. Quick and agile enemies are constantly popping out keeping you on your toes. Other than blowing brains out you also get to do puzzles and explore the amazing environments.

Unfortunately there’s still no release date for Vampire Origins, lame I know. But hopefully we’ll hear something soon.
