Want More Inside Info On True Blood Season 4?

Well, now there’s a place to get it. And how. According to the latest scoop provided by those geniuses of Internet snooping at Flavorwire, you can start writing out the questions you want answered, –and they may actually get answered! Provided of course, that they aren’t any of the big questions that Alan Ball refuses to answer, –which would obviously make some pretty spoiler-tastic insights, and would definitely ruin the show for pretty much everybody. Then again, if you really wanted serious spoilers, you could just read the books, since Alan Ball tends to stick fairly close to the main thread of the Sookie Stackhouse series. Although, he does occasionally deviate from Charlaine Harris’s path, there are plenty of moments where the books might as well be the script.

Check out FlavorWire’s dish on the new True Blood blog that promises answers to some of the little questions, if not the big ones:

“A couple of months back, the folks at HBO quietly set up a blog called “Inside True Blood”, run by Alan Ball’s assistant Gianna Sobol. Up until now, it’s largely been given over to publicity type material, profiles of crew members and production information – all of which is interesting reading, but none of which has given a great deal away about what’s in store when the series returns to screens on June 26.

However, of late Sobol’s been answering questions from fans, and in the process, at least one part of the plot for Season 4 has been revealed. In part of what appears to be True Blood‘s effort to run through a full roll-call of supernatural beings, the latest addition to the show will be… witches. And magic. (If you’ve read Charlaine Harris’ books, this probably won’t be a surprise, but otherwise, read on.) Apparently there’s been much discussion among the show’s writers as to how to depict said magic, and how to characterize the witches in question. We await the results with interest.

The floor is open for other questions from fans, so get writing if you’re so inclined – so long as your question isn’t one of the four that Alan Ball “will NOT answer”:
– Where is Sookie?
– Where is Tara?
– Do Sookie and Bill reconcile?
– Do Sookie and Eric get together?”

Those are definitely the big questions, –except I really don’t care if Tara comes back or not. Christ, I am so sick of all the focus on Tara, I could puke. All she does is bitch and moan and feel sorry for herself, ironically, because all she does is bitch and moan. This is Tara’s whole part in the show, people, in a nutshell:

“I am such a bitch! Haha! I am such a bitch. Boohoo. I wish I wasn’t such a bitch, but I can’t just stop being a bitch, I don’t know how. Oh well, maybe I better go have sex with someone. Then yell at them. Well, my life sucks and they’re writing me out the show. And this weave is pretty old. Might as well cut my hair and take off. Later, bitches.”

That’s Tara. Except unfortunately, it lasted three frigging years. That’s right, three years, of non-stop, waaah wah wah, no one likes me because I’m a hateful bitch, Tara. Good, I hope she -stays- a casually mentioned character, just like in the book. No offense intended to Rutina Wesley, but your character sucks. Sure, Tara has her moments of awesomeness, but generally, I am so ready for at least one season, not to revolve around her a solid 60% of the time.
