What’s Your Favorite YA Vampire Series?

Vampires are everywhere nowadays, especially in young adult fiction. You’ve got a large selection of vampire series to choose from, but which one is your favorite? Check out the list below and let us know which one you love the most. Or if I forgot one, let your voice be heard and fill me in.

Vladimir Tod series by Heather Brewer
The first book follows 13-year-old half-human half-vampire Vladimir Tod, his best friend Henry, and his guardian Aunt Nelly. In  Eighth Grade Bites, Vlad tries to figure out if his parents were murdered or if their death was an accident, all the while seeing if his new substitute teacher Mr. Otis is out to kill him.

The Blood Coven series by Mari Mancusi
This series is about the lives of the twins Sunshine McDonald and Rayne McDonald. Sunshine “Sunny” is the popular beautiful blonde, whereas Rayne is gothic rebellious girl with few friends. The story starts when Sunny is turned is bitten by a vampire instead of Rayne.

Den of Shadows collection by Amelia Atwater Rhodes
A collection of vampire novels that are all set in the same supernatural world. Featuring sexy and devilish vampires, powerful witches and passionate tales full of romance.

Bloodline Series by Kate Cary

Set in World War I, the series follows nineteen-year-old John Shaw as he tries to stop Dracula’s bloodline from continuing.

Vampire Beach series by Alex Duval
About teenage Jason Freeman who moves to Southern California with his family and discovers that his new home is full of vampires.

Blue Bloods series by Melissa De la Cruz

Do I even need to add a description here? Twilight is about the clumsy Bella Swan and her passionate romance with vampire Edward Cullen - with some added drama from werewolf Jacob Black.

House of Night series by P.C. and Kristen Cast

This series follows the adventures of Zoey Redbird, a sixteen-year-old girl who has just become a fledgling vampire and is required to attend the House of Night boarding school in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

The Morganville Vampires series by Rachel Caine

About brainy 16-year-old Claire Danvers who learns that the Texas town that she has just moved to is completely owned by vampires.

Vampire Academy series by Richelle Mead

The Vampire Diaries by L. J. Smith
Another series that doesn't need an explanation (although the books are way different than the show). As you know, the story centers around Elena Gilbert, a high school girl torn between two vampire brothers - Stefan and Damon Salvatore.

Vampire Kisses series by Ellen Schreiber
The series revolves around the relationship of a goth girl named Raven Madison and her vampire boyfriend Alexander Sterling and the conflicts they must overcome to stay together.

Cirque du Freak series by Darren Shan
