‘The Bleeding’ Trailer Released

At long last the trailer for the latest vampire movie, The Bleeding, has been released for our hungry eyes to view. The movie is directed by the multitalented Charles Picerni, who is best known for his stunt work in everything from Buffy the Vampire Slayer to Rush Hour 3. The cast of this new vamp flick is so badass and fearsome you know this movie isn‘t some girly glitter-vamp filled romantic drama. I mean, you got the legendary Vinnie Jones who kicked ass on the soccer pitch and now does so in films like The Condemned, then you have rapper DMX, LA Ink’s super sexy Kat Von D, Kill Bill’s Michael Madsen and the newcomer Michael Matthias. That there is one hell of a cast.

The movie itself is about ex-US Army Ranger Shawn Black (Michael Matthias) and his search for his parent’s killers. His search leads him to discover a terrifying family of vampires led by Cain (Vinnie Jones), The Vampire King. Tipped off by a nice cop and fortified with blessed weaponry supplied to him by a boozy priest, Black must infiltrate the horrifying vampire’s lair – a former chemical weapons factory turned night club, where he will finally meet the creature that has changed his life forever.

From the looks of the trailer this flick appears to be a bit low budget and campy, but at the same time it looks like one of those movies that becomes a fast cult favorite. It’s the perfect testosterone filled vampire movie for those that are sick of the teenage vampire romances featuring the whiny and pansy vamps. It has hot women, fast sports cars, guns and since the director is a well experienced stuntman, a lot of stunts as well. My prediction for this flick is that Kat Von D may become a new favorite character for vampire fans – that woman looks damn hot with a pair of fangs and a corset.

As of now there is no release date for this movie, all we know is it’s set to come out some time this year.

saw the ending of it today, that’s the 1st time I ever saw it, I would see it again on cable but I will refrain from the dvd until I can see the full movie, generally I don’t do cheesy camp in my dvd’s, lol, but that wont stop me from seeing it again on cable, don’t mind cheesy on cable

if it has vampires in it, romance, mystery, science fiction, horror, it’s good, I can either watch twilight or daybreakers, doesn’t matter, I just root for the good guys
