AMERICAN HORROR STORIES and Beetlejuice and Hill House at Horror Nights

The spinoff series to AMERICAN HORROR STORY, brilliantly titled AMERICAN HORROR STORIES (How long did it take them to think that one up?!) now has an official trailer. This one will be exclusive to FX on Hulu, so I haven’t gotten too excited about it. It will have seven episodes in total and will feature AHS regulars Matt Bomer and Billie Lourd, among others, in at least one episode, with Danny Trejo in another, and is also created by AHS originator Ryan Murphy. It does look to be of comparable quality to its parent series.

After Covid shut down last year’s Halloween Horror Nights from Universal Studios, the attraction(s) will be returning big time this year. There will be “houses” based on Beetlejuice and Netflix’s THE HAUNTING OF HILL HOUSE! There will be several other houses, too, but these two are enough to make me want to head south this Halloween season. How about you? Getting to actually visit Hill House alone would do it for me. I mean, they’re recreating Hill House!

About the Hill House house: “It stands like a brooding creature, waiting for its victims. Enter the decaying remains of an aging mansion that lives—even if all who dwell there are long dead. Step right into Netflix’s supernatural masterpiece, The Haunting of Hill House. Each unsettling room, each darkened hallway, takes you deeper and deeper into your worst nightmares. Come face-to-face with The Tall Man, The Bent-Neck Lady, The Ghost in the Basement and more. Enter the Red Room and you may find yourself spending all of eternity listening to the sound of your own screams.” Oh, if only!
