-Bat Monsters Return

Have you done your part as a loyal Horror fan, and seen GODZILLA: KING OF THE MONSTERS in the theater? How about you, all you Monsterkidz out there? (Yeah, you probably have.) Anybody who hasn’t seen this one on the big screen, trust me, you don’t want to miss it. Commoner critics hate the movie—of course; would you expect anything else from the likes of them?—but it is bloody spectacular, a love letter to the monster geeks of the world. There are no less than *seventeen” kaiju shown onscreen in this movie! (What’s the plural of “kaiju”? Is it like “deer,” where the same word applies to both the singular and the plural usage, or should it be “kaijus”?)

Of particular interest to vampire marks will be the Bat Monsters of Skull Island, first sighted in KONG: SKULL ISLAND. The bat creatures, which do not as yet have an official name, won’t be as easy to spot as most of the other beasts, as they are much smaller. But they are there, flapping around in the movie’s final scene. If we can get enough asses in seats in the theater, we might in the future get to see a gigantic version of these nasty little predators going toe-to-toe with Godzilla or some other kaiju. Hie thee to a theater, mon fiends!
