‘Breaking Dawn’ Honeymoon Photo Revealed & More!

Warning: spoilers ahead!

In the Twilight Saga, Bella and Edward are all steamy and passionate with one another, yet they never have sex because you know, Edward is a gentleman or whatever. But then in the fourth book, Breaking Dawn, they get married and finally do the deed. Stephenie Meyer made the whole thing super chaste by skipping over the sex scene and fast-forwarding to the next morning, with Bella covered in feathers. Now, Breaking Dawn is currently filming, and judging by the honeymoon photo that was recently released, the cast and crew aren’t skipping over the sex scene like Meyer did.  Check out the near nudity below!

Judging by the lack of feathers, I am guessing that this is right before they get down to the naughty fun. Being Twilight, the scene looks pretty intimate and sweet, with Edward caressing her hair and Bella trailing a finger down his cheek. While most of the fans are going “awwwwwwww” I am cringing at what is to come. I’m expecting this whole scene to be super awkward, because well, most scenes with these two actors are. But that’s just me, what do you guys think? What’s your reaction to the photo?  Do you fans like that the writers and director added in the sex scene, or do you wish they would have followed the book’s cleaner version?

In other non sex related Breaking Dawn news, Peter Facinelli (Carlisle Cullen) chatted before the Golden Globes about Kristen Stewart and her new role of vampire.

“She’s doing really well. She looks fantastic,” he raved about Stewart’s big transition. “For some reason, once they put those contact lenses in, you look very statuesque.”

Facinelli then spoke about what’s going on on the Breaking Dawn set, however he wouldn’t go into detail, he did say that things were super action-packed though.

“We’ve been shooting the last two weeks with a lot of vampires,” he said. “I don’t want to give away too much, but if you’ve read the books, it’s the standoff with lots of vampires in play. There’s like 70 people going through the works at once. It’s a little maddening, but fun.”

“We shot pretty much the ending of the two movies the other day,” he added about how much time the cast has left on set. “But we shoot until mid-April.”

Moonlight (aka Amanda) loves to write about, read about and learn about everything pertaining to vampires. You will most likely find her huddled over a book of vampire folklore with coffee in hand. Touch her coffee and she may bite you (and not in the fun way).

  1. Isn’t the sex supposed to be quiet ruff because he like destroys the whole room en stuff ? I don’t know how they’re going to do that … probably by failling hard

    1. No, he doesn’t destroy the whole room, he only rips up the pillows. The sex wasn’t rough at all, he destroyed the pillows by biting into them to keep control.

  2. I’ve always seen a chemistry between these two, appropriate to the (mostly) above average nature of the material and its genre–for all practical purposes Christian Romance. The description of sex in the novels, while not even remotely explicit, ended up a pleasing tease IMHO. Especially liked the mention of how Bella’s joints all felt slightly loosened. Hope we get to see Edward’s overreaction as well as her having to seduce him. Fun stuff!

  3. Ewwwwwwwwwww…i hate them both they gross me out. The bella in the book is much better, and robert pattinson just ruined the whole essense of edward I HATE HIM..I however love the edward in the book.

  4. Its just to bad they aren’t really and truely married ir atleast together still. I think they made an awesome couple.
