Buffy, on Whedon

Man, the pile-on continues where Joss Whedon is concerned. It seems Cyborg has opened the floodgates. After Ray Fisher accused Whedon of misbehaving (we still don’t know what he did, exactly, other than being “unprofessional” and “abusive”) on the set of JUSTICE LEAGUE, others are now coming forward with their own accusations. Charisma Carpenter, who played Cordelia on BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER and ANGEL, has gone on record blasting Whedon. And Buffy herself, Sarah Michelle Gellar, while not outright accusing Whedon of anything where she was concerned, sure didn’t come to his defense, either: “While I am proud to have my name associated with Buffy Summers, I don’t want to be forever associated with the name Joss Whedon…I stand with all survivors of abuse and am proud of them for speaking out.”

More damning testimony came from Michelle Trachtenberg, who said that Whedon’s behavior towards her on the set was “inappropriate”—and bear in mind, she was underage at the time she was on the show. It’s official, then. Seems Joss Whedon is a piece of trash. His career is likely over. It’s a shame that it took so long for him to get his just desserts, though. He should have been shown the door a long time ago. Sayonara, jackass!
