Busted! Proof that John Logan, creator of PENNY DREADFUL, lied to his fans!

Slam-dunk, peeps. If this were a courtroom, then the prosecution just produced the smoking gun. Yes, I said that I was ready to move on, to stop shaming Logan for his behavior, but when the evidence just keeps on a’comin’, I’d be remiss to ignore it. If there is anyone out there who still believes Logan has any credibility after reading this article, and the one I’ve linked to below, that person is simply in denial.

So PENNY DREADFUL was always meant to be a three-season show? That’s what Logan said. Or was the decision made to end it at three sometime during season TWO? Logan made that claim, too. Which is it, John? Oh, but everybody in the show knew all along that this was the last season, right? Billie Piper says otherwise. She says, and the emphasis is mine: “NO ONE was expecting it.” Is she lying, John? Or are YOU? Based upon the preponderance of the evidence, I’d say it’s pretty clear who’s being untruthful here. Whatever else you may achieve in your career, pal, it is now publicly proven that you lied to your fans. J’accuse, John Logan!

Oh, and the fact that the PENNY DREADFUL Facebook page is now removing any posts criticizing you, and Showtime has decided to just not talk about it anymore, isn’t going to make these charges any less true, or make you look any less guilty. Just the opposite, I’d say.

  1. Thank you for continuing this expose. I knew from the first video aired after “The End” that it was all PC nonsense, paid off by Showtime. Please John, give the viewers a little credit for having some brains. I have read a few blogs with comments from anonymous cast/crew members also stating that it came as a complete surprise to them as well. It feels bad to be taken for a fool, John.
