Mini Eclipse Preview: The very first Eclipse still was released. The third movie in the Twilight Saga is expected to come out June 30th, 2010. In this flick we will get to watch Bella as she struggles between vampires and werewolves. Ba ba buuuuuuuuum!

Naked Alice: Ashley Greene, the actress who plays Alice Cullen in the Twilight flicks, went nude for a new campaign for SoBe Lifewater – with nothing but body paint covering up her lady bits. But before you get too excited, the paint does a good job covering her; it seriously looks like real clothing. For pictures of the shoot check out the bottom of the post, for video, look below.

Taylor is Alive: Seriously people, enough with the fake death reports. Once again a celebrity death hoax spread like disease on Twitter, this time targeting Twilight hottie, Taylor Lautner. According to the rumor he supposedly died of a cocaine overdose, but his reps cleared the air saying that he is very much alive.

Stephenie Meyer Sued: A few months back I wrote about the Twilight author getting sued by author (and fame seeker) Jordan Scott. Scott claimed that Meyer plagiarized parts of Breaking Dawn from her own vampire novel Nocturne. Well the verdict is in and the winner is… Stephenie Meyer. That doesn’t come as a shock, just as I said in my previous post, there was no way Jordan Scott was winning that one. The official statement on the case…

“The Honorable Otis D. Wright II of the United States District Court has ruled in favor of Stephenie Meyer and Hachette Book Group and has dismissed with prejudice Jordan Scott’s claim of copyright infringement.

In his ruling, Judge Wright stated that the two works have little in common and that the “characters in the two works are vastly different.” The decision admonishes Scott for “the deceptive presentation of the alleged similarities” and notes that she “has twice manipulated aspects of the subject works in order to create the appearance of similarity.”
