Coronavirus Kills The Walking Dead—But Not WHAT WE DO IN THE SHADOWS!
Not actually killed, as you can’t kill something already dead, which zombies are. What it has actually killed is production on the news series, which has, like just about everything else, come to a halt in the wake of the pandemic. THE WALKING DEAD: WORLD BEYOND, which I had dubbed THE WALKING DEAD 90210, was set to premiere on April 12th. It has been delayed until an undisclosed date later this year. Eh, I wasn’t going to watch it anyway.
Production on the flagship series THE WALKING DEAD and the first spinoff FEAR THE WALKING DEAD has also been interrupted.
As of right now, the second season of WHAT WE DO IN THE SHADOWS is still set to begin on Wednesday April 15th. There will be ten episodes in season two. Check out a teaser trailer here. And a longer one here. Looks like Guillermo is going to embrace his destiny as a vampire slayer. What will that mean for his relationship to Nandor? And a “superb owl” party? I could go to one of those. I love owls; in fact they’re my favorite bird. I think they’re all superb!
What the heck. Have one more trailer for the road.
