Eclipse Back in Theaters Today

That’s right Edward Cullen fans, you get to see his sparkly body in theaters all over again! But why you may ask – because of Bella Swan’s birthday. Yeah, the movie is be re-released into theaters because of a fictional character’s birthday… and because theaters like money. Her birthday is actually on the 13th but theaters dig the Friday release.

Twilight’s official Facebook page sent a message out saying, “In celebration of Bella’s birthday, ECLIPSE will be re-released in theatres nationwide this Friday! It’s your last chance to see it on the big screen with your friends.”

In Eclipse, Bella once again finds herself surrounded by danger as Seattle is ravaged by a string of mysterious killings and a malicious vampire continues her quest for revenge. In the midst of it all, she is forced to choose between her love for Edward and  her friendship with Jacob — knowing that her decision has the potential to ignite the ageless struggle between vampire and werewolf. With her graduation quickly approaching, Bella is confronted with the most important decision of her life.

Now, this may seem like good news to you Twi-hards out there (YAY VAMPIRES ON THE BIG SCREEN AGAIN), but the truth is, the longer it’s in theaters the longer you have to wait for it to come out on DVD. Personally, I’d rather have a movie I love on DVD, that way I can watch it over and over again – plus special features kick ass. So Twilight fans have an even longer wait now, sorry guys.

But what do you folks think? Any Twilight fans here planning on hitting the theater again to ogle Edwards’s goodies?  What about the Twilight haters out there, what do you think about the big birthday encore? Let us know in a comment below.

Moonlight (aka Amanda) loves to write about, read about and learn about everything pertaining to vampires. You will most likely find her huddled over a book of vampire folklore with coffee in hand. Touch her coffee and she may bite you (and not in the fun way).
