Fireside Chats: More Virtual and Video Tours
Are you going to miss the Fireside Chats after everything gets back to normal? I have to admit, while I for damn sure won’t miss anything about this ‘Rona pandemic—historic though it may be, I’m more than ready for it to be over with!—there are certain memories associated with it that will, when recalled, make me smile. Those nice walks in various parks I’ve made with my significant other. Eating carryout food in the car, listening to the radio. And these articles titled Fireside Chats. I don’t want to go counting chickens too early, mind you. We’re not out of the woods yet. But I am beginning to, hopefully, see the light at the end of the tunnel as we move into summer and the mandated government restrictions are eased.
I will fondly recall the way so many tried to help make the quarantine more bearable for everyone by providing things like those virtual tours of their museums or historic sites. Here are a few more we can still enjoy.
