First Look at New Fangoria Issue Cover Promises More on ‘Da Sweet Blood of Jesus’

“Spike Lee on his controversial vampire film DA SWEET BLOOD OF JESUS…”

Except, Spike Lee says it’s definitely not a vampire movie. Should be exciting though, I mean, he hasn’t actually opened up very much about the film so far, and I’m interested in what he has to say about the story, but moreso on how he got the idea. I don’t go in for a lot of religious stuff, but apparently, a lot of the Internet is calling it a “romantic horror comedy”.

It will be in theaters as of Feb. 13th, but you can view the trailer for it now on YouTube; from what I see, honestly, there is absolutely no comedy involved at all. It looks like something that a very depressed Tyler Perry would come out with. I keep expecting Oprah or Tyrese Gibson to pop out saying something really deep and meaningful about how much white people suck.
