First Official Poster of Twilight’s Breaking Dawn Revealed

Good news for all of the Twi-hards out there! Summit Entertainment, the folks behind the Twilight flicks, has finally released a teaser poster for The Twilight Saga’s Breaking Dawn: Part I. Unfortunately this little poster doesn’t feature any of your beloved Twilight characters, it simply displays the title of the film, the release date and the film’s website at the bottom with a pretty sunrise and some trees as the background. Not really all that spectacular, but hey, it’s something.

The poster was released via the official Twitter page of The Twilight Saga along with an announcement that the Breaking Dawn: Part I teaser trailer will premiere at the MTV Movie Awards and on IMDB on June 6.

Check out the poster below:

For those of you that need a refresher: In the upcoming two Twilight films, the newfound married bliss of Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) and vampire Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson) is cut short when some big bad drama hits, threatening everyone’s lives.

On top of that, the arrival of their unique daughter, Renesmee (Mackenzie Foy), sets in motion a dangerous chain of events that sets the Cullen family and their allies against the Volturi, the ruthless council of vampire leaders, which triggers an all-out battle.

In addition to Robert and Kristen, Taylor Lautner, Ashley Greene, and Peter Facinelli return to play the beloved roles as Jacob Black, Alice Cullen, and Dr. Carlisle Cullen. The Twilight Saga’s Breaking Dawn Part I will come to theaters on November 18, while The Twilight Saga’s Breaking Dawn Part II will follow a long year later on November 16, 2012.

So Twilight fans, what do you think of the little teaser poster for the first Breaking Dawn flick? Personally I think it’s a bit of a disappointment, but then it is a teaser after all. Will any of you stay up to catch the trailer on the MTV Movie Awards?

Moonlight (aka Amanda) loves to write about, read about and learn about everything pertaining to vampires. You will most likely find her huddled over a book of vampire folklore with coffee in hand. Touch her coffee and she may bite you (and not in the fun way).
