It’s about vampires and werewolves, and I write about vampires and werewolves, so I gotta write about it. There’s a new VAMPIRE: THE MASQUERADE game, entitled COTERIES OF NEW YORK, coming out. It will be available from Steam on December 4th. There may be versions available for Xbox and PlayStation later on. Meanwhile VAMPIRE: THE MASQUERADE—BLOODLINES 2 has been delayed until late 2020. I won’t be playing either of these games and, as you may have gleaned from my tone, I don’t really care. In the least. But some of you might, so…
Werewolves are also getting some attention on the video game front. WEREWOLF: THE APOCALYPSE—EARTHBLOOD will also be available for Xbox, PlayStation 4, and the PC in 2020. The game will preserve the basic theme of the werewolves being the “good” guys, fighting the good fight against evil corporations and polluters in defense of the planet. You can watch the trailer for it here. It’s a spiffy trailer, I have to admit. Where’s the trailer for the digitized vampires? Ask and ye shall receive! Here is a 28-minute gameplay demo video, just for you! It looks fairly spiffy, too. Almost makes me want to play it.
