Getting the Most Out of Being a Vampire

After taking one of those “Who Were You?” quizzes on Facebook recently, it turns out that I am a direct descendant of one of the most powerful and oldest vampires in history. The results showed that I didn’t just become a vampire out of nowhere, but simply put, I was just born evil.

You may think I’m a tad off my rocker, but from time to time I scare myself with psychic abilities, I’m a great lover (if I do say so myself), and I can read people like a book at the drop of a dime. Why am I even bothering telling you people this? OK, OK, I believe I actually may be part vampire and here’s what I would love most if the latter were true.

Clothing … it’s a staple of one’s status symbol. My mother used to work in the garment industry in NYC back in the day, so I kind of know my stuff. If I were a vampire, and what the Facebook quiz said was true, I’d collect period clothing … end of story.

Think about it … if one were to live forever, the amount of clothing they’d accumulate in the lifetime (or in a vampire’s case, many) would surpass any amount that could fit in an apartment’s walk-in.

The time periods I would love most to collect clothes in would be the Victorian era and the 1920s. The Victorian people were tight asses, but man they knew how to dress. The ladies were so elegantly put-together and the men were so pristine.

In the 1920s, it was a time of booze and jazz … and living the good life. The clothing was loose and hell, so were the women … damn floosies.

So there you have it, folks … this vampire loves the clothes. Not the clothes of today’s time period, but clothes with some class!
