Ghosts of Milledgeville

At one time, Central State Hospital in Milledgeville, Georgia, formerly the Georgia State Lunatic, Idiot, and Epileptic Asylum, Milledgeville State Hospital, and the Georgia State Sanitarium, was the largest insane asylum in the country.

Though still a functioning psychiatric hospital today, much of its enormous campus is closed, left in a dilapidated condition. And there are more than 25,000 unmarked graves of patients who died at the site located on the hospital grounds. Think there might be a ghost or a thousand attached to the place?
