It’s for a good cause, so I’m sure you’ll forgive me. You must understand, after my reporting on the fact that the statue of Jason Voorhees, located somewhere on the bottom of Lake Pleasant (in Arizonia), placed there by scuba diver Zachary Nagy, had in fact *not* been removed, as earlier reported, by the local guvment, I learned of the existence of a petition telling the guvment to leave the statue alone. I felt the need, then, to share that petition with all of you, because it needs signatures.
I see no reason why the statue shouldn’t be left alone, provided it poses no threat to the environment, which it apparently does not, and is not a safety concern for boaters or divers, also which it doesn’t seem to be. “…Zachary Nagy recreated the iconic horror character Jason Voorhees in the form of a statue as a way to make for an interesting piece for the Arizona scuba diving community…[they] built the statue from scratch with all environmentally friendly materials, not to mention, they ensured that Jason was at a depth as to not cause any safety issues for those above water [and it would] actually aid in the reproduction of underwater wildlife as well as providing them with shelter.”
Leave Jason alone, guvment jerks!
