Indie News: Young Blood: Evil Intentions Heading to Film Festivals

It was recently announced that the indie vampire movie Young Blood: Evil Intentions will be entered to film festivals. From Splattered Kumquat Productions, Young Blood was written, produced and directed by Mat and Myron Smith.

“Raised in a torn home, one girl discovers she has the ability to make big changes, with even bigger consequences. Anavey Winchester (Autumn Ward), with the loyal help of her innocent little sister Anastasia (Zoe Cox), form an army of young blood thirsty vampires to kill all the adults. No one is safe! Will Anavey’s dreams become a reality? Will Anastasia escape the cult before it’s too late? Will the angry mob put an end to the insanity? With performances by Butch Patrick (The Munsters), Jamison Newlander (The Lost Boys), Lloyd Kaufman (Troma Ent.), Count Smokula, Sal “The Vampire Santa” Lizard and many others, “Young Blood” is guaranteed to keep you on the edge of your seat and forever remind parents to respect their children.”

“We are currently submitting the movie to film fests and seeking distribution.” said Myron Smith. If things go according to plan, then we just might have a new vampire film to entertain us. Woo!

For more information on Young Blood: Evil Intentions check out their official website, as well as their Facebook page.

What do you think of the film so far? Does it sound like something you’d want to check out? I think it sounds fairly interesting. I also love the film’s current artwork (pictured above).

Moonlight (aka Amanda) loves to write about, read about and learn about everything pertaining to vampires. You will most likely find her huddled over a book of vampire folklore with coffee in hand. Touch her coffee and she may bite you (and not in the fun way).
