I’ve reported on The Mandela Effect before, in regards to the BerenstAin/BerenstEin Bears. For those of you not familiar with the term, it is named after Nelson Mandela, former president of South Africa and Civil Rights icon. It seems quite a few people have clear memories of Mandela dying in prison in the 80s, under the repressive Apartheid regime. Only, of course, he didn’t. Not in THIS reality, anyway. Believers in the Mandela Effect speculate that our reality has overlapped with parallel realities at times without us even realizing it, and that people have transitioned from one to the other, also without realizing it. That’s why some people remember Mandela dying in the 80s—because in the reality they were in at the time, he did.
Usually the Mandela Effect displays in ways less dramatic than is the case with Mandela, though. See the above-mentioned Berenstain Bears. Didn’t it used to be spelled a different way? (Yes, it did!) Likewise, is the name of the movie, directed by Neil Jordan and based upon the novel by Anne Rice, titled INTERVIEW WITH THE VAMPIRE or INTERVIEW WITH *A* VAMPIRE? It depends on which reality you were in at the time of its release. It also seems we exist in the reality in which it IS possible for Tom Cruise to deliver a credible performance as Lestat. At least that’s how *I* remember it.
It is December of 2020. In this moment it is and always has been Interview With THE Vampire. But that is not to say it has always been the case. The name of the book and subsequent film WAS Interview With A Vampire. At a point in time (at least 5+ years ago) it indeed was changed. Several variables appear to be in play here: 1. AI is being used to manipulate images and words on the internet and to provide a false historical narrative that runs contrary to how others remember said historical narrative. 2. A technology exists somewhere that allows for the manipulation of the physical world at the sub-atomic level. 3. A technology exists for the mass scrubbing of old memories and possibly the implantation of new memories. This technology for some reason does not appear to effectively work on the entire targeted group. 4. The creators, assistants, stars, and others heavily involved in the productions of these “affected” or altered works (i.e. films, shows, products, books, music) might possibly be in on it. Whether voluntarily or coerced by threats or blackmail is unclear. As far as I can tell, this is what is going on. The reason (or reasons) is a mystery. It has been often hypothesized that (somehow) timelines are merging and that our “reality” is crossing with another “reality”. I highly doubt it. I believe that this hypothesis is a desired outcome by those responsible for this phenomenon. If you wish to know why I believe any of what I have written please contact me.
