Hiya Readers! Scares That Care is a fantastic non-profit organization run by a horror fan and supported by horror fans. They support sick children in need, as well as women suffering from breast cancer. They are truly a wonderful organization, which is why I am pleased to announce that Scares That Care are having a celebrity dinner benefit and dance! Those who attend the dinner get to meet Cerina Vincent (Cabin Fever, Return to House on Haunted Hill), Ernie Hudson (The Crow, Ghostbusters) and Kane Hodder (Frozen, Hallow Pointe).
Here are the details from the benefit dinner website:
Come shake off the winter blues, and have dinner with Ernie, Cerina and Kane at the Third Annual “Scares That Care!” Benefit Dinner and Dance – where all proceeds go to help sick kids, and women fighting breast cancer! The event will be held at the Wyndham Gettysburg Hotel, 95 Presidential Circle Gettysburg, Pennsylvania 17325, 717-339-0020, on March 31, 2012.
Tickets are $60.00 per person, and includes a scrumptious buffet of the following:
- Fresh Mixed Baby Green Salad with Tomatoes, Bermuda Onions, Garlic Croutons and Balsamic Vinaigrette
- Sliced Tender Roast Beef with Shallot Gravy OR Sauteed Breast of Chicken with a Marsala Sauce
- Chef’s selection of Starch and Seasonal Fresh Vegetable Medley
- Assorted warm rolls and butter, cakes and pies, with coffee and tea service available.
Music and Scaryoke services provided by DJ Joe C!
Silent Auction! Raffle! Fun!
For those interested, a Cash Bar will also be available.
For those looking to actually sit with Ernie, Cerina or Kane, 8 special seats are available per table at $150.00 each and are on a First-Come/First-Served basis! (Price includes dinner ticket).
