‘Let Me In’ Prequel

Abby’s story isn’t over yet! After the success of “Let the Right One In” and its remake “Let Me In” folks are keeping the momentum going by releasing a prequel to the popular movies in the form of a comic. That’s right, Let Me In: Crossroads #1 is out today and it tells the story of Abby’s life before she met Owen.

Let Me In: Crossroads #1 (Photo cover) Description:

“Being forced to spend eternity as a vampire–trapped in the mind and body of a child, with slaughter the only recourse for survival–is torture enough. But when Abby finds herself faced with a ruthless real–estate tycoon willing to do anything to get at the property she and her caretaker call home, far more monstrous torments await. In a small community torn apart by vicious men who are consumed by greed, wrath, and envy, she will learn which deadly sin is truly deadliest.

Dark Horse Comics and Exclusive’s legendary Hammer Films team up to take you even deeper into a tragic world of sophisticated horror with Let Me In: Crossroads, a chilling prequel to the highly anticipated film Let Me In. Written by Marc Andreyko (Manhunter, Predators), with art by Patric Reynolds (Abe Sapien: The Haunted Boy, Serenity: Float Out) and covers by Sean Phillips (Sleeper, Criminal, Incognito).

This four-issue miniseries will have specially enhanced variant covers for each issue

* The official prelude to Cloverfield director Matt Reeves’ highly anticipated horror film starring Chloe Moretz (Kick-Ass).
* An essential part of the Let Me In experience.
* Featuring a regular cover and a foil–enhanced photo variant cover!

Writer: Marc Andreyko
Artist: Patric Reynolds
Colorist: Dave Stewart”

What do you “Let Me In” fans think of the prequel comic? Do you think that the original book and the two movies were more than enough, or are you happy that the story is continuing?
