LOST BOYS is Dead. Long Live the Pizza!

The CW has scrapped its pilot episode of the prospective THE LOST BOYS television series. It plans to re-film everything with an all new cast, excepting a couple of people. No word on whether or not the pilot episode will be rewritten, or whether or not they will give the proverbial boot to director Catherine (TWILIGHT) Hardwicke. At this point I have to ask, why bother with any of it? It’s sadly obvious at this point that the ol’ One-Hoss Shay just ain’t gonna run. (This is a reference to the poem by Oliver Wendell Holmes and not to the two-person carriage, by the way. Although the two-person carriage *would* be pulled by one horse.) Better to let it stay dead, I think. No use wearing out your arm whipping a dead horse.

Meanwhile, there’s a couple of THE LOST BOYS-themed pizza joints in London. England, that is. Not London, Arkansas, or London, Kentucky. And not Englund, which is the last name of Freddy Krueger. I *wish* there were locations of the pizza places in Arkansas and Kentucky, or even closer to home for me. That black charcoal pizza looks surprisingly yummy, I must say. The pizza joints show classic Horror movies, too. My kinda place, for sure.
