More Dracula Funkos

Dracula, the character, has been portrayed more often than any, and in more movies. (Sherlock Holmes and Tarzan are the only other two that even come close, but Dracula has them both beat.) It’s fitting, then, that Dracula would have more Funkos created in his likeness than any other figure. I don’t know if this is actually the case, not yet, anyway, but it will be the case insofar as my personal collection is concerned, now that the company is releasing several new figures from the film BRAM STOKER’S DRACULA, which has become one of the most iconic representations of Bram Stoker’s immortal novel. We have Dracula in his red “devil armor”, both masked and unmasked. We have him in his street attire in London, looking all dapper, and there are two versions of the “old man” Dracula we first meet at the beginning of the movie. (My personal favorite is the one of him licking the straight razor.) Oh, and there’s a Van Helsing figure too.

Which to buy? As I said, I dig that one with the razor the most, but the devil armor figure is suitably badass as well. Helmeted or not-helmeted? I think I prefer the helmeted version. But is it, along with the old man with the razor, going to be a chase variant, and if so, harder to find, and more expensive? Those two have the looks of chase variants.

Who am I kidding? I’ll end up getting them all.
