More Vampire Games for the Vampire Lovin’ Gamers

I bring thee more games! Woot! See, I love video games, particularly vampire games (BloodRayne FTW!) so I am pretty geeked that the vampire disease has infected not only the film and book industries, but the video game industry as well. However, it hasn’t infected the bigger gamer companies since very few vampire games are being released on consoles. Booo! But there are many MANY downloadable PC games, and amazingly enough, not all of them are terrible.  Here’s a small bloody taste of the vampire games available online:

Sinister City

In this gorgeous adventure game you travel to the astral plane to save John’s bride from vicious vampires, including the powerful Count Orlak! Explore a sinister city, solve perplexing puzzles, and search ancient castle corridors.

Love & Death: Bitten

After Celeste, the vampire queen, curses Damon and transforms him into a vampire, he finds Victoria, the mortal girl who might be able to save him. Together they search for hidden clues, solve puzzles, unlock passages and fall in love along the way. You can play either character in this game, exploring 30 locations day and night.

Dracula: Origin

In this incredibly popular game you play as the vampire slayer Professor Van Helsing, who is hot on the trail of the diabolical Count. The ruthless Dracula is searching for an ancient, eldritch ritual to return damned souls to the earth. As the eminent Professor Van Helsing it`s up to you to stop him before his evil machinations are realized.

Dracula Twins

In this cute game you don’t play a vicious vampire slayer, but instead as a young vampire who must stop the slayer. In Dracula Twins, Doctor Lifelust has kidnapped Count Dracula. The doctor wants pure vampire blood to make an elixir that will make him live forever. Now it’s up to the twins to save the Count. Take on the role of the Dracula Twins, play as Drac or Dracana. Defend Transylvania and rid the castle of the evil minions who are helping the treacherous vampire hunter.

The Dracula Files

Yes, yet another Dracula themed game. It this adventure game you play as the descendants of Jonathan Harker who must put a stop to Dracula. This game also includes a bonus comic.

Dracula: Love Kills

Another one! This game actually features some surprisingly beautiful artwork. The Queen of Vampires is back and is determined to destroy the world. No one, human or vampire, will stand in her way. Count Dracula is still weak from his last battle with Van Helsing, so an uneasy alliance is formed between the two mortal enemies. Will they overcome their hatred and stop the Queen?

And that there is a small look into some of the many downloadable vampire games out there.

Moonlight (aka Amanda) loves to write about, read about and learn about everything pertaining to vampires. You will most likely find her huddled over a book of vampire folklore with coffee in hand. Touch her coffee and she may bite you (and not in the fun way).

  7. you’re missing last sanctuary, resurrection, path of the dragon, shadow of the dragon and the blood legacy. though mostly last sanctuary and resurrection.
