There’s a brand new vampire film heading our way, A Vampire’s Tale, by Hellraiser director Doug Bradley. A Vampire’s Tale press release:

“HELLRAISER star and cult horror icon Doug Bradley stars in A Vampire’s Tale, a new vampire western arriving on DVD, Digital Download and On Demand from Lionsgate Home Entertainment. When not even calm of day can break them free from the terrors of the night, a family must fight vengeful vampires with the same satanic powers that have been used against them. Featuring music by rock band Hokie Joint, the film is directed and written by Drew Cullingham (Monk3ys) and stars, alongside Bradley, Jonnie Hurn (The Zombie Diaries) and James Fisher (The Zombie Diaries).

When a dysfunctional family moves into a remote farm, they find themselves in the middle of a centuries old feud. As night falls, terror emerges from the darkness in the form of a deadly seductress and a vampire cowboy hell bent on revenge. As the evil continues to plague this family they’ll discover that sometimes darkness is your only friend.”

Sounds like it may be an interesting movie. I am a little wary though since this is the first time I have heard any mention of A Vampire’s Tale. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see if this flick is worth a watch.

Anyone here planning on checking out this film?

Moonlight (aka Amanda) loves to write about, read about and learn about everything pertaining to vampires. You will most likely find her huddled over a book of vampire folklore with coffee in hand. Touch her coffee and she may bite you (and not in the fun way).
