First Stephen Dorff decides to out himself as a jellybean loose-r. Then I read about this. Actor—or should we put that in parenthesis, “actor?”—Tony Moran played Michael Myers in the original HALLOWEEN. For about two seconds. His was the *face* of Michael when the killer got briefly unmasked. (Personally I like those cuts of the film where you never actually see Michael’s face. A lot of the old broadcasts I’ve seen on late night TV were like that. I think it’s more effective if you never get a good look at the mug beneath the mask.) And I do mean briefly. But Moran is sure trying to milk that two seconds for all they’re worth.
“Pay attention to me!” as Robbie the Problem Cat croons. “Dah-dah-dah-dah! Pay attention to me!”
Moran knows that making baseless accusations against John Carpenter and Jamie Lee Curtis *will* get him attention—just not good attention. It smacks of pure desperation. He says some really nasty things about Tyler Mane, too. I’m betting that, if Mane ever confronted him about it, he’d wet his pants. (Tyler Mane is a biiiig dude. Moran is not.)
A lot of people have gotten this guy’s autograph through the years. Personally I wouldn’t give the creep the time of day.
