Plug Pulled on New Dracula Movie in Shropshire

The production company making a brand new Dracula movie have said they will no longer be shooting in Shropshire.

But there’s no reason to lose hope in the movie itself! It does suck for the town of Shropshire though, because the movie definitely was going to help with the town’s local economy, as the tourism and actors, crew and cast would have funded a lot of town’s local businesses. But unfortunately, the set isn’t going up in Shropshire, so says the film’s production company, but they are looking into some filming in that location during the summer of 2016.

But the good news is that they are still planning to film the movie, just not in that town. Financially, according to the production company, it made more sense to film in several locations around Europe, so they’re actually filming three different films, Dracula being one of them. More good news, is that those from Shropshire who applied and were brought on as extras to be in the movie are still going to be in the film. The producers are going to fly those lucky people to the new locations in Europe to stay on with the filming.
