Review of the Sexy Grimm Fairy Tales Halloween Special

Comics, sexy women and vampires! What more could you want this Halloween season? As many know, I am a hardcore comic book junkie, and one of my favorite publishers is Zenoscope due to their awesome storylines and incredibly sexy (and beautiful) artwork. While going through their popular Grimm Fairy Tales series I discovered that they had done a Halloween special with vampires! Yay! Grimm Fairy Tales Halloween #2 is packed full of vampires and sex appeal. Mmm…

“When a group of friends attends a Vampire role-playing Halloween party hosted by Belinda they might be in store for a little more than just a little bit of fun… Groups of fake vampires mingle while one crew seems to be more than just a hoax. If you love Vampires and scares this is the Halloween edition you’ve been waiting for!”

Artwork: 5 out of 5
The artwork is amazing! The covers are my favorite, which is usually the case with Zenoscope comics. The inside artwork is pretty standard for comics, although I loved the character designs, as well as the vampire design which was very unique.

Story: 3.5 out of 5
In one word – predictable. There were some twists and turns in the storyline, but for the most part everything was expected, you knew pretty much the entire time what was going to happen. Not having read all of the Grimm comics yet, I did feel at times that I was missing more of the story, but overall this was a one-shot comic that doesn’t necessarily require reading all previous comics. While predictable, the story was still enjoyable. It was a fun quick read.

If you’re looking for a comic with some sexy characters and a touch of horror, I’d check out Grimm Fairy Tales Halloween #2. It’s not the best I have read (other issues in the series are way better) but it’s a decent read.

You can find the digital version of this comic HERE for $1.99.

Moonlight (aka Amanda) loves to write about, read about and learn about everything pertaining to vampires. You will most likely find her huddled over a book of vampire folklore with coffee in hand. Touch her coffee and she may bite you (and not in the fun way).
