Season One of ‘Transitions’ Now on DVD

While scanning Amazon for new vampire DVD releases I came across Season 1 of a show titled Transitions, which came out this past month. I’ll admit it, I had never heard of this particular show before now, but after checking it out it doesn’t sound bad. The reason so few have heard of this particular show is because Transitions is a web series, the first produced by Ream Enterprises.

Check out the synopsis:

“Ed Loomis is a man on the streets trying to find his way through life, looking for a new opportunity to redeem himself in society.  Until one evening he finds himself cornered and in a dire situation for his life.  Not believing it he is killed and brought back as a Vampire.  This is a story of “transition” from life to the undead and its trials and tribulations.  Follow Ed and his fellow clan members as they confront the challenges that come within their shadowed society.  We all live… we all die… only the unfortunate transition.”

Sounds like an interesting premise. Not the most innovative, but interesting nonetheless. The show currently consists of twelve episodes that are all under 10 minutes, so it’ll take almost no time at all for new viewers to catch up. According to their website they are working on a second season now.

Here’s a look at the trailer:

Yeah, it’s definitely a low-budget web series (which is to be expected), but it is one of the better ones I have seen.

If you’d like to watch Transitions you can head over to Amazon and buy the DVD, or well, you can go to their website and watch it for free.

Have any of you seen Transitions? If so, what did you think? Are there other web series you like? I know there are a few vampires ones out there. Let me know in a comment below.

Moonlight (aka Amanda) loves to write about, read about and learn about everything pertaining to vampires. You will most likely find her huddled over a book of vampire folklore with coffee in hand. Touch her coffee and she may bite you (and not in the fun way).
