Squishy Vampires and Godfather Vigo
I always visit the toy section of any department store I enter. It’s a deeply ingrained habit. Check the toys first. This time of year, I get to add to that by always going through the seasonal section, looking at all the Halloween decorations and such, masks, costumes, makeup, and whatnot. The other day I came across some Halloween-themed Squishmallows. I thought they were adorable, but they were priced a tad higher than I was willing to pay, even for the vampire one. One of my quirks, but there is a certain amount of durability that a product must possess for me to spend a proportionate amount of money on it. I don’t collect Halloween masks because latex doesn’t have a long shelf life. And Squishmallows are basically just little cushions. Still cute, though. Which one is your favorite? (Other than the vampire, I mean. That’s a given.)
Also, I don’t know who took this picture. I don’t know whose child that is, being watched over by Vigo the Carpathian. I would love to credit that person, and give him/her a digitized high-five. This is a work of demented genius. It almost makes me wish that I had an infant, just so I could do this.
