I’ve got goodies on The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones! The film, based on the first book in the bestselling series by Cassandra Clare, comes to theaters August 23. Sony hasn’t been revealing too many sneak peeks of the film, but they did share some photos from the movie. Wonder what Magnus looks like? Want to see a steamy photo of Jace and Clary? Movie description:

Have any of you read the books? Are you excited about the upcoming movie? I totally am! While I loved the story in the first three books of the series (the only books that matter in my opinion) I was not a fan of how the author got her characters across. She rocked the story, but failed when it came to the characters. I think the actors in the film will be able to pull off what the author couldn’t. So I am excited about the movie, I think it has the potential to be better than the book (gasp!).
