I was just ruminating last week on who, if anyone, would be portraying Count Dracula in the forthcoming (we hope) television series THE BRIDES, the pilot episode of which has been ordered by ABC. Ask and ye shall receive! We have received word that actor Goran Visnjic will be portraying our beloved vampire. I don’t know anything about the guy but he has a good look. Let’s hope he has the chops for the role.
We now know who will be in the role of Dracula, but what will Dracula’s role be in the series? Says the linked article: “The potential series, from Riverdale showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, is a ‘sexy contemporary reimagining’ of the classic Dracula story with ‘strong horror elements,’ centering on the legendary vampire’s three brides [in which the]

I’m thinking I was right in my prediction. The Brides are going to mutiny, and then Dracula will come after them looking for revenge. That’s my guess. Either that or there’s going to be some other adversary for Dracula and the Brides to fight together, but I’m betting on Dracula being the heavy.
