Courtesy of the fine folks at DREAD CENTRAL, check out this trailer and sneak-peek of the forthcoming comicbook series CULT OF DRACULA. And yes, we did have a couple’a guys kvetching last week because we posted articles about comics, and yes, I am being a little cheeky by choosing to post another one this week. Sorry/notsorry.

CULT OF DRACULA the comic is an adaptation of the stage play by Rich Davis. “As a child, two things absolutely terrified me: Count Dracula and Charles Manson. With Cult of Dracula I follow Stephen King’s advice to ‘write what scares you’ by bringing these two nightmares together,” said Davis. Interesting take.

Here’s the synopsis for the series: “Cult of Dracula begins with the grounded sensibilities of a true-crime detective story. Special Agent Malcolm Bram is investigating a tragic event dubbed by the media as the ‘Cult of Dracula Mass Suicides’. Bram’s investigation serves as a framing device to keep readers grounded as they tumble down the rabbit hole to discover that this weird little cult is much older and much darker than perhaps anyone could imagine.” Loosely based on Stoker’s novel, then. I can dig it. Ima have to check this one out.

And remember, kiddies, CULT OF DRACULA is a comicbook and will be available at comicbook stores this fall.
