The Real Worst Vampire Movie Ever Made

Without question the crappiest movie featuring vampires I ever saw was 2010’s VAMPEGEDDON. No question about it. But. The people involved in VAMPEGEDDON knew they were making a piece of detritus. They never tried for anything else. At no point in the creative process did anyone associated with this junk suffer from any pretense that the movie would be anything remotely resembling an artistic endeavor. They knew they were making garbage. Is it even fair to judge such a movie using the same yardstick we’d use to appraise movies in general?

VAMPEGEDDON had nothing. No budget, no actors, no production value, no original story, nothing. What about movies that had access to all of those, yet still managed to deliver something awful? For that reason, I would say that the worst vampire movie ever made was not VAMPEGEDDON but 2001’s THE FORSAKEN. The latter is every bit as lousy as the former, but it doesn’t have any excuse for being such trash. VAMPEGEDDON you can at least laugh at. Having to sit through THE FORSAKEN is just painful. Do you have any contenders for worst vampire movie ever made? Your suggestions, whatever they might be, cannot possibly be worse than THE FORSAKEN, but maybe there are some that come close in terms of lousiness?
